January 27, 2015- 1 YEAR!!!- Puerto Madryn

January 27, 2015

I'm out of the office! I am so grateful for all that I learned and the opportunity to help the mission as a whole and all the individual missionaries but I could not be more grateful to leave and dedicate 100000% of my time to the field and working my butt off.. I only have a year left so I've got to get off the computer and go!

I'm in Puerto Madryn Argentina with Elder Gutierrez de Buenos Aires.... such an amazing missionary.

I'll send an email next week with a ton of pics!

Love you all!!

January 19, 2014-Soy de Boca

Whats good!!!!! Another crazy week in the office! Well first off I want to see pictures of the Florida trip sooo DALE!! second of all.. I'm so grateful for the priesthood!

We were able to give three blessings this week due to sickness and they were all just amazing!!
And Elder Hodgson and I hit a year in the mission so we burned a shirt (i found an old shirt in the apartment) :) it was hilarious because Elder Hodgson thought we were gonna go to jail if anyone saw haha it was a good time
Yesterday was so cool... We went to church..then we had lunch with an inactive family that loves us (Family Tapia!). They are so cool! They have a daughter on the mission who is 32 years old!!  Well we had a bomb lesson after we ate about priorities and our testimony and how valuable it is..

After we left the Tapia's then we went to give sacrament to Hermano Perez and his wife.. they live on a sketchy hillside in a little tiny house and he´s blind and she is just a saint! but goodness what a testimony he has! He hasn´t been blind his whole life... he's older now and just chills at home but can't really do anything and it is sooo sad! I can't imagine being able to see everything one day but then the next not be able to see everything!  Super inspirational man.  Hermano Perez told us how he has never been mad at God for what has happened.. He knows that this is all part of the plan and why not make the best of it? When he bore his testimony I almost lost it.. seriously love them soooooo much!! And there so grateful that we come every week to give them the sacrament but it's really us that are so thankful we have to opportunity to do it!

After we left there house just high on the spirit we were walking and saw this lady across the road picking weeds with a neck brace.. we ran over in our suits and offered our help.. of course she said no it's all good like everybody else but I wasn't going to let this lady pick these weeds by herself... so I just let my comps talk to her and I went so hard in the weeds and it just so happened to rain the night before so it was perfect to pick them.. Turns out she had been praying and we came running up.. she's having family problems.. we're going to go teach her this week and we have lunch!! She kept calling us angels haha it was awesome!
Being secretary sure makes me appreciate all the times to leave and teach or help someone so I'm extremely happy that we found some time to leave and teach!!! This week is the last week of the transfer and I'm out of here!!! so excited too just devote everything to working! it has been nice helping out all the missionaries be legal and President with everything but I'm more than excited to pass that off!
Pray that I won't go crazy doing all the transfers for the last time haha this week is going to be CRAZY!! and I have to teach homeboy Elder Miranda everything I do so I'm praying for patience;) naw it'll be great!!
I'll send some photos!
Thank you for all the prayers and support! OH HUGE S/O to the ward for hooking it up with a package! I got some letters from little primary kids that made my life and a couple from the Don and Jackie!! Tell them thank you soooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!! The koolaid was too prime and all the candy and post it notes!! and a fruity smelly pen!!!! tightest pen ever!!!!!

Love you all!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN MOM!! hopefully your letter will get there this week!!

Miracle: We were walking back to the apartment last night from a cita that canceled on us and we passed the biggest house I've seen in our area! it sticks out like a sore thumb because it's straight up pink! haha wellll we were walking past and then jokingly I told my companion to stop to contact this house that was now going to be our lunch for thursdays.. so we clapped and this man from Brazil came out and he invited us in and we taught him the restauraciĆ³n!!  It was soooooooo amazing and we are going to see him right now so bye!!!! btw His name is Pablo!!

January 5, 2015 La Vardad

January 5, 2015

La verdad!!!:)

What is going on??:)

This week has flown by just like all the rest! I hope everyone had a great new years!
Ours was so much fun! Familia Sosa invited us over again and this time we brought more missionaries! In total, we were 16 missionaries with this family and we had the biggest asado with lamb and cow and chicken.. just every type of meat possible! They are honestly too nice to have us all over!

To start off the new year we're reading the Book of Mormon again from the beginning and I can't tell you how grateful I am for that! President told  us to read it in out native language so I brushed the dirt off my english Book of Mormon and started from the beginning... and I haven´t felt this much peace in a minute.  I have such a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and the power that it has. What other book testifies of Christ...proves his existence...has records of Him visiting the America's and then gives you so much promises and commandments...and to top it all off it's all centraled around families! Goodnight! It's such an amazing book.

We have been encouraged to mark all that has to do with Christ and the atonement in red and everything that has to deal with missionary work in blue and I haven't picked up my pencil! This book is truly inspired and we are truly blessed to live in a time where we have the great blessing of being able to read it and meditate upon the words of our Father in Heaven, His son, and the Holy Prophets! All in all, READ IT!!

We found this amazing man named Pedro yesterday and we taught him of the power of the Book of Mormon.. he then asked us how could he find out if it was true... I can't explain the happiness I had when I heard him ask that question!! Moroni 10: 3-5! PRAY!!

I love serving the Lord...I love being a missionary..Matthew 10:39... I'm going to strive to forget myself even more this year to really devote everything I have to the Lord... I won't get this opportunity again so why not give it everything I have!

Thank you for all the support and prayers! They are definitely felt!!

Another miracle.. our zone now has some serious talent in football and we played the first legit game of football since I have been on the mission! Too much fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Love you allllll
